- Classic Concierge of Charlotte |

Classic Concierge of
Charlotte was developed
with two things in mind:
How to get all of
the chores done and still have time to
relax.
Prior to the opening of Classic
Concierge of Charlotte, Karen
Reynolds raised three daughters in
Concord, Massachusetts. She was
always busy trying to meet the
demands of being a wife, mother and
attending college herself. After
earning a degree in Sociology/Social
Work, she decided to follow her love
of fashion and interior design.
Neighbors were always calling for
advice on event planning, interior
decorating, and help with personally
shopping for clothing for a specific
social event. This led to a career
in retail and the desire to help
others do what came naturally to
her. Looking back at her hectic
schedule of homework, driving the
children to school and other outside
activities, she realized that having
the availability of a concierge
herself would have simplified her
life.
Lori Moran can personally understand the
need for a concierge. With her husband
gone all week traveling for work, she
had to learn how to juggle all of the
responsibilities of raising two boys in
northern New Jersey.
She earned a Masters degree in Social
Work from Boston University and put that
degree to work for the next eleven years
gathering experience in various
settings, including two hospitals, a
community-based Home Health agency, and
then serving as the Director of Social
Services in a 100 bed nursing facility.
After taking nine years off to devote
time to her children, she went back to
the world of working mothers who try to
juggle the demands of work, home, and
children.
With both women having a personal and
professional interest in helping others,
they mutually agreed that a service of
this capacity was needed in the South
Charlotte area, especially Ballantyne,
South Park, and Piper Glen, and decided
to join forces and become the local
concierge service.
With Karen's area of expertise being
interior design, fashion, personal
shopping, and event planning and Lori's
knowledge of the local merchants and
vendors in the area, they hope to take
some of the stress off of everyday life
for those that have too much on their
plate so that they can just "ENJOY
LIFE".
